Data Deletion Instructions
ViralForge stores the details described in our Privacy Policy for the social accounts you connect. You can delete that data in any of the ways below.
Option 1: Disconnect the account in ViralForge
- Sign in to ViralForge.
- Open Channels and select the channel.
- Click Manage Connections.
- Click Disconnect next to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TikTok.
The access tokens, account IDs, names and Page lists for that connection are deleted immediately.
Option 2: Remove ViralForge from Facebook or Instagram
- On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Open Business integrations or Apps and websites.
- Find ViralForge, click Remove, and confirm.
Facebook notifies us automatically, and we delete the stored Facebook and Instagram connection data for your account. Facebook shows you a confirmation code, which you can use to check the status of the request on this site.
Option 3: Remove access from Google or TikTok
- YouTube: remove ViralForge at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- TikTok: go to Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions, and remove ViralForge.
Once access is removed, the stored tokens no longer work. Use option 1 or option 4 to delete them from our systems as well.
Option 4: Email us
Send an email to stephenmaina02@gmail.com with the subject Data deletion request. Include the name of the Page, channel or account concerned, and whether you also want the related content, publishing records and performance data deleted.
We confirm by email and complete the request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Always: access tokens, account and Page IDs, account names, usernames and Page lists for the connection.
- On request by email: the channel, its generated content and media, publishing records and performance statistics.
Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 14 days before it is overwritten.
